Liebherr-Australia has delivered three excavators to Gold Fields‘ Gruyere Gold Mine in Western Australia, launching a new partnership between the two companies. An R 9600 and an R 9400 arrived in May, and a second R 9600 joined the fleet a month later. The mine sits in Western Australia’s Yamarna Greenstone Belt.
Liebherr designed the R 9600 and R 9400 for material movement rates, fuel efficiency and maintenance. The company says both models are built for payload capacity and reliability in mining applications.
