Mastercam Expands Western U.S. Support With CAD/CAM Deal

Acquisition moves CAD/CAM Consulting Services from channel partner to direct operations across California and the Western U.S.

TOLLAND, CT, July 6, 2026 – Mastercam has completed its acquisition of CAD/CAM Consulting Services, moving the former channel partner into Mastercam operations, expanding its presence across California and the Western United States.

CAD/CAM Consulting Services is now operating as part of Mastercam. The acquisition gives Mastercam regional support structure for manufacturers in California and the Western U.S., including in-region specialists, technical support and training programs.

“This marks an important milestone for Mastercam and for our customers in the western United States,” said Russ Bukowski, president of Mastercam. “By bringing CAD/CAM Consulting Services fully into the Mastercam organization, we are strengthening our local connections while delivering the full power of Mastercam’s global resources. Customers will benefit from closer collaboration, faster technical support, and solutions tailored to their regional manufacturing needs.”

Mastercam said the shift from a channel partner model to direct operations is intended to support faster problem resolution and local customer service. The acquisition is part of its growth strategy, which includes targeted acquisitions and direct operations in key markets.

Mastercam is part of Sandvik’s digital manufacturing portfolio and provides CAD/CAM software and support for manufacturers worldwide.
