
TOLLAND, CT, Sep 8, 2026 – Mastercam will supply CAM software and sponsor the CNC Milling and CNC Turning competitions at WorldSkills Shanghai 2026. Competitors will program and machine precision components to international quality standards, with judges assessing accuracy, efficiency and process decisions.
The 48th WorldSkills Competition runs Sept. 22-27 at the National Exhibition and Convention Center in Shanghai, China. Organizers expect more than 1,400 competitors from over 70 countries and regions across 62 skill areas, with estimated attendance of 250,000 visitors.
Most competitors are younger than 24. Government leaders, employers and education policymakers will also attend the event. Mastercam has supported the WorldSkills International for more than 10 years.

Preparation for the machining competitions often begins years before the event.
