TOLLAND, CT, Aug 27, 2025 – At EMO Hannover 2025, taking place September 22-26 in Germany, visitors will see the next release of Mastercam software. Mastercam 2026 targets a challenge in manufacturing – bottlenecks in programming workflows – while giving users control over machining operations.

Mastercam 2026: Enhanced Performance and Precision

The focus of Mastercam’s EMO presence will be Mastercam 2026 software release. The release focuses on productivity and to streamline manufacturing. It adds efficient toolpaths, enhances user controls, and machining strategies to improve surface finish and reduce cycle times.

Mastercam Probing: Fully Integrated Probing Technology

Attendees will experience Mastercam Probing, an add-on that allows users program a spindle‑mounted touch probe in the same Mastercam interface used for toolpaths. The software generates and inserts machine‑specific G‑code into NC programs to reduce setup time and improve dimensional accuracy. In‑process probing supports part verification and adaptive machining during production, which can reduce scrap and rework and support lights‑out operations.

Mastercam Copilot: AI-Enabled CAM Intelligence

Mastercam 2026 release includes access to an adopter program featuring Mastercam Copilot. The initial release of Mastercam Copilot offers two functions: a Help system that provides natural-language guidance for programming questions, and a Command function that helps users by guiding them through the programming process.

“We’re excited to showcase how Mastercam continues to evolve with the manufacturing industry’s needs,” said Russ Bukowski, president at Mastercam. “Our demonstrations at EMO will highlight how the adoption of AI tools, fully integrated probing capabilities, and our latest software enhancements will continue to transform manufacturing workflows with efficiency and precision.”

Design Showcase: World’s First Hollow Body Titanium Guitar

EMO visitors will see the debut of a titanium guitar, designed and programmed in Mastercam by guitar designer Dean Zelinsky. Zelinsky will be at EMO Hannover 2025 to discuss the design and manufacturing process.

Additionally, Mastercam will host a customer appreciation celebration on Sept. 22, 2025. All members of the media, partners, and Mastercam users are invited to this event.

Live Demonstrations and Expert Consultations

Mastercam technical experts will run live demos with applications from aerospace, automotive, medical devices, and general machining. The parts will show how Mastercam handles complex geometry and works with premium materials. Visitors can schedule one-on-one consultations to discuss their manufacturing needs and possible solutions.
