ModuleWorks appointed Gürsel Demircali as chief strategy and transformation officer, a newly created role focused on partner network development and digital manufacturing. Demircali will manage ModuleWorks’ global partner strategy, support entry into new markets, and align commercial execution with the company’s long-term roadmap. He will also work with commercial and corporate development teams to strengthen ModuleWorks’ position as a technology provider in the CAD/CAM sector.

Demircali has more than 20 years of experience in manufacturing technology, starting his career as a CNC machinist, before moving into CAD/CAM software and digital manufacturing. He has held executive leadership roles, building organizations and partner networks across Europe, Asia, North America, and Africa. Demircali has led teams of more than 100 professionals and managed global market development.

Before joining ModuleWorks, he served as chief commercial officer at Exentis Group AG, where he managed global commercial strategy. He also held senior leadership roles at Desktop Metal and Markforged. Earlier in his career, he spent more than 10 years at SolidCAM, where he worked with ModuleWorks technology and gained experience with its role in the global CAD/CAM industry.

“We are delighted to welcome Gürsel to ModuleWorks,” said Dr. Yavuz Murtezaoglu, founder and managing director of ModuleWorks. “ModuleWorks has spent over two decades developing software technology that shapes modern manufacturing. This step will ensure we continue to evolve in line with the expectations of our partners and the markets we serve.”

“I have seen what ModuleWorks technology can do from the customer side,” said Gürsel Demircali. ”The quality is exceptional, and so is the opportunity. My focus will be on making sure our partners feel that more clearly in every interaction, and on building the structures that allow us to grow together sustainably.”
