HUNG YEN, Vietnam, Sep 21, 2026 – Molex has completed the initial building phase of its expanded manufacturing plant in Hung Yen, Vietnam. The 250,000-square-meter facility supports high-speed data center customers through manufacturing, engineering and quality assurance operations.
Located in Thang Long Industrial Park II, the plant is Molex’s second site in Vietnam. It currently employs nearly 5,000 people, with that figure expected to reach 8,000 by the end of 2026.

The Hung Yen site joins Molex’s 28,000-square-meter Hanoi plant, which has operated since 2007 and employs 1,000 people. Both facilities combine engineering, manufacturing, supply chain and support functions. They also support career and skills development.
The plants use solar power, power management systems (PMS), LED lighting and electronic controls. They also feature inverter-based air conditioning. Building management systems (BMS) control the energy-saving equipment across both locations.
