Deal backs Vision 2030 goals with training, pilot projects and digital twins for smart facilities management

RIYADH, Saudi Arabia, Feb 18, 2026 – Nemetschek Arabia, part of the Nemetschek Group, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Saudi Facility Management Association (SFMA) to advance facility management in the Kingdom. The agreement centers on innovation, knowledge exchange, and workforce development within the facilities management sector.

Nemetschek Arabia and SFMA will align their work with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 goals for facilities management. The agreement includes sharing expertise, building workforce skills, and applying technology-driven methods. The partners aim to strengthen industry standards and advance digital adoption across the facilities management sector.

Nemetschek Arabia and SFMA will organize workshops, seminars, and training programs and participate in industry events. The partners will collaborate on R&D focused on facilities management solutions. The MoU also outlines pilot projects in public and private sectors, with emphasis on smart facilities management, digital twins, and data-driven operations.

Nemetschek Arabia and SFMA will support sustainability initiatives and provide access to educational materials, offer technical and professional consultancy, along with structured training programs. These efforts aim to develop national talent and strengthen workforce capacity in facilities management.

Saudi Facility Management Association is a nonprofit professional organization based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. It was established in 2020 under the supervision of the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development.
