NATIONAL, India, July 27, 2026: Nemetschek Group, India has partnered with edtech platform Novatr to deliver hands-on BIM training to students and working professionals. The collaboration targets a persistent skills gap at a time when India is pouring over ₹111 lakh crore into infrastructure projects and racing to become the world’s third-largest construction market by 2030.
Formalized through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), the partnership integrates Nemetschek’s software portfolio into Novatr’s project-based, cohort-driven learning programs. The portfolio includes Graphisoft Archicad, Allplan, Bluebeam, Solibri, and Vectorworks. Certification tracks built around these tools give learners practical experience through projects.
The program offers certifications, mentorship, live project experience, and placement support through Novatr’s network of over 800 hiring partner firms. It also serves working professionals looking to move into BIM and digital engineering roles.
Speaking on the collaboration, Alok Sharma, managing director and vice president, Nemetschek India, said: “India is entering a defining decade for infrastructure and urban development, where digital technologies and AI will determine how efficiently we design, build and operate our built environment. While BIM adoption is accelerating rapidly, the availability of industry-ready digital talent remains one of the sector’s biggest challenges. Our partnership with Novatr reflects Nemetschek’s long-term commitment to developing future-ready professionals by giving them access to globally recognized BIM and AI-driven technologies, practical project experience and internationally relevant digital workflows. Together, we aim to build a stronger, globally competitive talent pipeline, one that not only supports India’s transition towards smarter, more sustainable and technology-driven construction, but is also skilled enough to cater to global design and engineering needs.”
Harkunwar Singh, co-founder & CEO, Novatr said: “The future of the AEC industry depends on professionals who are proficient in digital design, collaboration and construction technologies. By partnering with Nemetschek India, we are enabling learners to master globally used BIM platforms while working on real-world industry scenarios. This collaboration strengthens our mission of making India’s AEC workforce globally competitive and helping employers access talent that is productive from day one.”
Nemetschek India has previously collaborated with IIT Madras, VJTI, School of Planning and Architecture (SPA), and KIIT, and continues to expand its Global Capability Centre in India. Novatr has trained more than 10,000 professionals across over 50 countries and facilitated more than 5,500 job opportunities for its graduates.
