MUNICH, Germany and SINGAPORE, Oct 17, 2025 – The Nemetschek Group and Nanyang Technological University, Singapore (NTU Singapore) have formed a partnership to advance the translation of research into solutions that enhance productivity, resilience, and sustainability worldwide.
The partnership was formalized in a signing ceremony between NTU President Professor Ho Teck Hua and Nemetschek Group CEO Yves Padrines.
Accelerating Intelligence and Sustainability
The partnership combines Nemetschek’s software ecosystem with NTU Singapore’s expertise in physics-informed AI, microclimate modeling, generative design optimization, and AI safety frameworks. Joint projects will focus on converting research into practical applications that address industry needs in performance, climate adaptation, and risk management.

Professor Lam Khin Yong, NTU’s vice president (Industry) explained: “This collaboration pairs NTU’s strengths in science and technology, and proven track record in research translation, with Nemetschek’s global innovation platform to accelerate adoption not just in Asia-Pacific. By validating new methodologies in live projects and integrating them into curricula, we will speed up climate-responsive design, embodied carbon intelligence, secure AI frameworks, and industrialized construction practices.”
Expanding a Global Innovation Network
The NTU partnership builds on Nemetschek’s collaboration with Stanford University’s Center for Integrated Facility Engineering (CIFE), beginning a university–industry network that sets standards for technology adoption, talent development, and industry impact.

Empowering Future Industry Leaders
The collaboration expands the Nemetschek Global Academic Program (NGAP), linking students and educators with technologies that prepare AEC/O professionals for an AI- and data-driven future. Research in climate intelligence, generative design, and secure AI will support new learning pathways and connect with the Nemetschek AI and data innovation hub.
The initiative will offer mentorships, lab experience, and project opportunities that bridge academia and industry, giving students and faculty access to Nemetschek’s software portfolio.
