Elegoo, already deep into resin and filament printing, laser engraving, and more, has announced Nexprint—an open-source platform that brings 3D creators together by streamlining how they share, find, and print models, says this interesting article on Gaming Trend.

Nexprint sits at the crossroads of creation and printing. It’s optimized for Elegoo printers but also integrates with OrcaSlicer, making it compatible across a wide range of hardware. Behind the interface is real convenience: creators can browse and download models from Nexprint and other repositories such as Thingiverse, Printables, and MakerWorld, all without hopping between different sites.

What stands out is how Nexprint handles recognition. It uses a points-based reward system to highlight originality, runs competitions with prizes, and promotes standout designs across the platform. Creators also receive support through dedicated channels, and top models gain priority exposure.

Ryan Siu, Elegoo’s VP, frames Nexprint as more than just a repository: it’s a collaborative, feedback-driven ecosystem where ideas grow and creators connect.

The platform is in early stages, launched in open beta, and Elegoo is backing it with a “creator fund” reportedly worth US$1 million to seed participation. Nexprint is live now and inviting creators of all skill levels to dive in and help shape its future.

Nexprint simplifies discovery, rewards creativity, and stitches together the fragmented world of 3D model sharing into one open, inclusive hub.
