
Nscale named Sam Huckaby president of data centers as the company expands AI infrastructure projects across Europe and North America. Huckaby will oversee global data center build, operations and capital deployment, with responsibility for reliability, sustainability, energy efficiency and performance requirements for AI workloads.
Huckaby joins Nscale from Oracle, where he served as senior vice president of OCI Data Center Infrastructure. In this role, he managed global data center build, operations and deployment across Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.
Before Oracle, Huckaby held senior leadership roles at Vantage Data Centers. His roles included chief operating officer for North America, vice president of construction and chief development officer for EMEA. Across his career, he has worked on hyperscale data center campuses for cloud and enterprise clients.
