NVIDIA, NAVER Add 55 MW to South Korea AI Factories

DSX deployment links data centers, model work, and cloud infrastructure for enterprises and government users

South Korea’s sovereign AI infrastructure will add an initial 55 megawatts of capacity under an NVIDIANAVER plan to use the NVIDIA DSX platform to design, build and scale full-stack AI platforms for enterprise, industry and government users. The companies are targeting longer-term expansion to gigawatt scale.

NAVER’s facilities will use the NVIDIA DSX platform and NVIDIA accelerated computing to provide AI infrastructure for enterprises, manufacturers, government organizations and AI cloud customers in Korea.

NAVER Expands GAK Sejong Capacity

The DSX-powered cloud will expand GAK Sejong data center, which supports NAVER’s AI and cloud services.

GAK Sejong uses automation, sustainability features and disaster response capabilities to support energy-efficient operations. The facility is part of NAVER’s infrastructure for digital services in South Korea.

NAVER is also addressing sovereign AI demand through infrastructure in Europe and the Middle East. By combining hyperscale data center operations with NVIDIA DSX, NAVER plans to provide government and private customers with digital services aligned with regulatory and data sovereignty requirements.

Model Work Supports AI Cloud

NAVER is advancing its HyperCLOVA X models by fine-tuning the NVIDIA Nemotron 3 Ultra model with data and training expertise. The work is intended to produce a model for Korean and global enterprise customers. HyperCLOVA X models based on NVIDIA Nemotron also provide a platform for sovereign AI initiatives in Europe and the Middle East.

NAVER is the first Korean company to participate in the NVIDIA Nemotron Coalition, contributing to open model development across pretraining, post-training and reinforcement learning. It plans to launch an AI Agent Platform in Korea in the second half of the year, powered by NVIDIA NemoClaw blueprints.

NAVER is also developing a Seoul World Model using urban street-view data and spatial modeling technology, building on NVIDIA Cosmos foundation models.

NVIDIA DSX Platform Underpins NAVER Expansion

The NVIDIA DSX platform is codesigned stack for AI factories, covering chips, systems, software, facilities and technologies. The platform is intended to reduce token cost and shorten time to first production. The platform will be paired with NAVER’s experience building and operating GPU clusters and hyperscale data centers.

NVIDIA DSX MaxLPS software is designed to lower token cost by increasing token throughput per megawatt. NVIDIA DSX OS provides an operating layer for lifecycle management, runtime operations, health automation, resiliency and multi-tenant AI factory management using open-source, modular software.
