MELBOURNE, Australia, July 14, 2026 – Octave Intelligence has appointed Veris Limited as its geospatial distributor and support partner in Australia and New Zealand, giving customers a local channel for Octave’s geospatial and imagery software.
Veris will provide customer support, consulting, training and implementation services for Octave GeoMedia (formerly GeoMedia); Octave Alto (formerly Luciad); Octave Imagine (formerly ERDAS IMAGINE); and Octave Alto Data Management (formerly ERDAS Apollo).
“This partnership is about maximizing value and outcomes for our customers,” said Chris Leaver, Octave’s executive director for customer success and new business in Australia and New Zealand. “Through our partnership, customers in Australia and New Zealand gain trusted local expertise from Veris, attuned to regional regulations, industry challenges and operational needs, while continuing to leverage Octave’s global leadership in geospatial and imagery innovation.”
“This agreement strengthens Veris’ role across the geospatial software lifecycle and builds on our long-standing relationship with Hexagon and now Octave,” said Michael Shirley, managing director and chief executive officer of Veris. “With an established base of government, infrastructure and defence customers already using Octave’s geospatial software, the arrangement creates a clear pathway to expand the delivery of implementation, systems integration and advisory services over time.”
Veris provides digital and spatial data advisory and consulting services in Australia and New Zealand. Its customers include government, mining, energy, defense, utilities, property and transportation organizations.
