LONDON, UK, July 13, 2026 – Omnia Training will deliver a £2 billion British Army collective training system that uses virtual, synthetic and data-driven environments to extend live exercises across the Army’s 15-year training program. The UK Ministry of Defence awarded the contract to Omnia Training to serve as the British Army’s Training Partner and deliver the Army’s Collective Training Service (ACTS).

Omnia Training is led by Raytheon UK and includes Capita, Cervus, Rheinmetall UK and Skyral. The consortium will deliver ACTS in partnership with the British Army. The program will provide soldiers with a digital training system for preparing and adapting to future missions. It combines virtual, synthetic and data-driven environments with traditional live exercises.

“We launched Omnia Training over three years ago to deliver cutting-edge training systems to help the British Army effectively prepare for operations,” said James Gray, managing director and chief executive of Raytheon UK. “Our UK‑based team of innovators, engineers and experts will give soldiers and commanders a new level of training realism and set an example for effective collaboration between the Army and industry”.

ACTS will use synthetic technologies, advanced analytics and training platforms to combine virtual, synthetic and data-driven environments. The ACTS program will use UK-developed technology, partners and suppliers. The program will support collective warfighting training through realistic, integrated, immersive and adversarial training environments.

The contract award is expected to create 270 jobs and sustain a further 150 jobs.
