Oracle Launches Advisor for Safety AI for Construction

AI tool forecasts safety risks using project data and adds observation capture in Aconex and Primavera Unifier

AUSTIN, TX, Mar 6, 2026 – Oracle has introduced Oracle Construction and Engineering Advisor for Safety, an AI-enabled predictive intelligence solution for construction safety management. The software analyzes project data to forecast potential safety incidents across construction projects and jobsite operations. The model draws on data covering more than 10,000 project-years to help firms identify risks earlier and support jobsite safety planning.

Oracle has also introduced an Observation capability in Aconex and Primavera Unifier Accelerator to support Advisor for Safety. Field teams can capture safety observations using mobile devices or web browsers during project work. Users record severity and frequency data as part of standardized safety observation data collection. The data supports predictive model outputs and safety risk management practices.

“Advisor for Safety marks a significant step forward in safety management, giving construction companies and owners the tools to predict and prevent incidents, while improving the industry’s overall efficiency and cost-effectiveness,” said Mark Webster, senior vice president and general manager, Oracle Infrastructure Industries. “Leveraging AI and machine learning, organizations can immediately transition from reactive to predictive safety management, improving safety outcomes and reducing both human and financial costs associated with workplace injuries.”

Proactive safety management

Traditional safety tools rely on reactive measures and lagging indicators, Advisor for Safety enables proactive risk assessment by offering:

  • Weekly risk forecasts: Identifies the top 20% of projects that may account for 80% of safety incidents, helping teams prioritize resources, manage risk and lower workers’ compensation costs.
  • Actionable risk mitigation: Provides prioritized actions for higher-risk projects and suggests corrective measures, such as increased supervision in identified risk areas.
  • Observation-based safety: Supports proactive incident reporting and maintains data quality for reliable risk predictions.
  • Cross-project analytics: Aggregates safety data for executive insights, decision-making, and best practice sharing.

Advisor for Safety analyzes project data from Oracle Aconex, Oracle Primavera Unifier Accelerator, Oracle Fusion Cloud Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and third-party systems. The platform combines safety observations, incident reports, payroll data and project schedules. Organizations can refine model predictions over time by tuning the system with proprietary data. This process directs analysis toward safety challenges and priority risk areas.

“By predicting safety incidents and providing actionable insights, our customers can now focus on prevention rather than reaction,” said Josh Kanner, senior director, Analytics & AI, Oracle Construction and Engineering. “Advisor for Safety has demonstrated customer reductions in incident rates by up to 50% or more and workers’ compensation costs by up to 75% in the first year.”1
