
CARPINTERIA, CA, Apr 28, 2026 – Procore Technologies named Vishal Misra, RKS family professor of Computer Science and vice dean of Computing and AI at Columbia University, to its board.

Vishal Misra has spent nearly 25 years as a computer science professor at Columbia University. He founded Infinio, a storage-performance software company, and AskHereFirst, an AI-based natural language query system. He co-founded Cricinfo, where he developed live microblogging before the company’s acquisition by ESPN and later served on the board of DB Digital. Misra earned a B.Tech. from IIT Bombay and an M.S. and Ph.D. from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
