PTC Partners with TRD for Engine Design Program

Toyota Racing Development uses CAD and PLM tools across motorsport production workflows

BOSTON, MA, May 29, 2026 – PTC will support TRD U.S.A. (Toyota Racing Development) as its Official Engine Design Software Partner, bringing Creo CAD and Windchill PLM into the organization’s engine development workflow. Creo and Windchill will help TRD manage design data, coordinate engineering processes and move product development work through a more efficient digital thread.

TRD designs motorsport engines for NASCAR, GR Cup, off-road racing and other racing competitions. It’s Costa Mesa engineering team and trackside staff use Creo and Windchill software from early design through production across multiple generations of motorsport engines.
