Pudu Robotics has launched the PUDU MP2000, a pallet handling robot with a capacity of 2,000 kg payloads and floor-to-floor transport in warehouses, logistics facilities, and manufacturing environments. The robot deploys in minutes, with no extensive site modifications, reflectors or QR codes, or complex platform integration.
Navigation
PUDU MP2000 maps its operating environment for navigation and workflow setup, relying on multi-sensor navigation, edge intelligence, and AI perception.
Obstacle Detection
The robot combines 3D LiDAR, depth cameras, and multi-sensor perception to detect and interpret obstacles at different heights and positions. It identifies low-profile and overhead obstacles, routes around static obstacles, and responds to dynamic ones as they appear.
Pallet Handling
PUDU MP2000 handles common pallet formats, including three-runner and perimeter-base pallets, and adapts to customized, non-standard load carriers. Onboard AI recognizes available storage locations, identifies load positions, and adjusts for pallet misalignment. The robot also assesses load size and shape on the fly to plan clearance through constrained spaces.
Fork-In Speed
The fork-in sequence takes as little as 20 seconds, shortening pickup cycles for high-frequency material movement. The system reduces repeated positioning and pickup attempts for consistent handling.
Fleet Coordination
Each robot makes decisions in real time while coordinating tasks with other units in the fleet. Fleet coordination also works offline, without external network connectivity. The MP2000 integrates with compatible peripheral equipment, and operators can assign tasks or take control when intervention is needed.
Product Line
PUDU MP2000 joins Pudu’s T Series AMRs, including the T300. The T300 handles flexible delivery and material transport; the MP2000 covers palletized and heavier-load movement across loading docks, warehouses, line-side storage, and production workshops.
