SAN DIEGO, CA, Aug 3, 2026 – Qualcomm has secured an agreement to supply compute silicon for BMW Group‘s digital cockpit and driver assistance and automated driving (ADAS/AD) systems through the next decade. The deal spans Snapdragon Elite automotive system-on-chips (SoCs) and AI accelerators, housed within Qualcomm’s Snapdragon Digital Chassis platform.

The agreement builds on the November 2025 launch of Snapdragon Ride Pilot in the BMW iX3, the first vehicle in BMW’s Neue Klasse program. Co-developed by the two companies, Snapdragon Ride Pilot runs BMW’s Symbiotic Drive system, which integrates the driver into the automated driving process.
Qualcomm’s Snapdragon Digital Chassis is an automotive compute platform built on more than two decades of automotive-grade silicon and software development. Its domain-specific solutions share a common architecture, so the vehicle functions as one system.
