
GILCHING/SAALBURG, Germany, Oct 27, 2025 – Quantum Systems has secured its position in autonomous systems with the acquisition of Spleenlab GmbH, a German AI company. The deal adds Spleenlab’s VISIONAIRY AI suite and edge-perception technology to Quantum Systems’ portfolio, enhancing its ability to deliver integrated mission systems across air, land, and marine. Quantum Systems expands its AI capabilities and advances its goal of integrating hardware, software, and AI.
Quantum Systems will integrate Spleenlab’s team into its AI center of excellence, tripling the size of its software and AI team. The company will retain all existing employees and continue operations in Thuringia and maintain an office in Jena. Existing research programs for the unmanned systems will continue, with combined teams accelerating the transition from research to operational use for customers and allied programs.
