LONDON, UK, Sep 10, 2025 – Quantum Systems is deepening its footprint in the United Kingdom with the launch of Quantum-Systems Ltd. UK, formed after the acquisition of Nordic Unmanned UK. Backed by a €50 million, five-year plan, the move signals a bet on autonomy, uncrewed systems, and local supply chains.

The UK Ministry of Defense is reshaping its defense mix under the 20-40-40 strategy, balancing 20% crewed platforms, controlling 40% reusable platforms such as drones and 40% consumable systems such as rockets, missiles, and one-way effectors. With its ISR portfolio from short- to long-range and it’s multi-domain and multi-asset software MOSAIC UXS, Quantum Systems is positioned to deliver against this doctrine.

Strategic Investment in British Capability

Quantum Systems’ plan includes infrastructure, local engineering, and partnerships with UK providers. The company will establish Service, Support, Training and Logistics Center (SSTLC) capabilities on demand, invest in maintenance and repair operations, and build training and test infrastructure, creating jobs and strengthening sovereign capability. A MOU with Skyports, will be formalized at DSEI UK 2025, showing Quantum Systems’ commitment to the UK ecosystem.
