Quantum Systems will supply 15,000 interceptor drones (c-UAS) to the National Guard of Ukraine to strengthen counter-drone capabilities. The effort follows the company’s investment in WIY Drones, which develops interceptor drones, reconnaissance and strike UAVs, and ground control systems.

Quantum Systems and WIY Drones will scale production of the STRILA interceptor drone (Ukrainian for arrow), designed to engage fast and maneuvering aerial targets. Initial expansion will take place in Ukraine to meet operational demand, with potential exports planned for surplus output.

Sven Kruck, co-CEO of Quantum Systems, said: “Ukrainian engineers have developed some of the most effective counter-drone technologies in the world. Quantum Systems brings these solutions to industrial scale and helps Ukraine close its sky.”
