BOSTON, MA, Jan 23, 2026 – PTC announced that Reditus Space selected Onshape CAD and its product data management (PDM) platform to support development of a reusable spacecraft and associated flight and all supporting hardware.
As Reditus Space advances toward its first orbital mission, ENOS Mk1, it adopted Onshape Government to support ITAR and EAR compliance. The company began with Onshape through the Onshape Startup Program, using the platform to mature designs from concept to flight readiness. ENOS Mk1 will launch on a SpaceX Falcon 9 rideshare, deploy a reusable spacecraft into low Earth orbit, carry commercial payloads, remain in orbit for roughly eight weeks, and then return to Earth for recovery and reuse.
“Onshape lets us move fast,” said Will Sherman, CTO and co-founder of Reditus Space. “From our first day in the Startup Program, we had full access to professional-grade CAD and PDM tools without the friction of license management or IT overhead so our teams could scale confidently with the compliance and control we needed.”
“Reditus Space is transforming how aerospace teams approach orbital logistics and manufacturing,” said David Katzman, EVP and general manager of Onshape and Arena, PTC. “Their ability to go from concept to launch-ready hardware with exceptional speed reflects the strategic advantage of cloud-native tools. With Onshape, they’ve gained the flexibility to collaborate securely, iterate rapidly, and meet regulatory standards, all within a single platform built for the pace of modern aerospace innovation.”
PTC positions Onshape as a platform for connecting product data across the enterprise. A shared engineering data foundation allows manufacturers to extend design information into manufacturing, compliance, and operations. For companies like Reditus, this approach supports faster AI-driven workflows, shorter development cycles, improved quality control, and better management of products and meet compliance.
