Revizto has introduced a new set of integration tools that allow architecture, engineering, construction, and operations (AECO) teams to connect external AI platforms directly to live project data. The release includes a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server, a Model and Object Properties API, and a new Developer Portal, all designed to make project information more accessible without locking users into a single AI ecosystem, tells AEC Magazine.
The new MCP server serves as a bridge between Revizto and AI platforms such as ChatGPT, Claude, Microsoft Copilot, or an organization’s private large language model. Instead of relying on custom integrations or manually exported files, teams can use natural language to query live project data. For example, users can ask about unresolved clashes, missing certifications, or other project issues and receive answers based on current information rather than outdated reports.
Revizto has also launched a Model and Object Properties API that provides direct access to model metadata and object-level information, including material specifications, fire ratings, quantities, and system properties. This enables organizations to automate workflows such as quantity takeoffs, cost estimation, installation tracking, carbon reporting, procurement, and facility management without opening the Revizto application.
Supporting these capabilities is a new Developer Portal that replaces manual access management with OAuth 2.0 authentication. The portal allows administrators to create, manage, and secure integrations through a self-service interface, simplifying deployment while maintaining governance over project data.
The announcement addresses a growing challenge across the construction industry, where project information is often fragmented across BIM platforms, spreadsheets, and specialized software. According to Revizto’s Bridging the Gap Report 2026, many organizations are looking to simplify their technology stacks, while limited time and resources remain major barriers to technology adoption.
Revizto emphasizes that its strategy focuses on connecting AI to trusted, live project data while preserving customer control. Rather than promoting a proprietary AI solution, the company enables organizations to use their preferred AI platforms without compromising data ownership or security. The new capabilities are included with existing Revizto subscriptions, giving AECO teams greater flexibility to automate workflows and integrate AI into their established project management processes.
