IRVINE, CA, Sep 3, 2026 – Roland DG has launched two direct-to-object UV printing lines: the VersaObject IO-300 flatbed printer and the VersaObject RC-300 series for printing on cylindrical objects. Both are built for high-mix, short-run production and product decoration.

VersaObject IO-300 Printer
The IO-300 prints on rigid substrates, including polycarbonate, ABS, acrylic, PVC, glass, aluminum and stainless steel, across a 30” x 20” (770 mm x 515 mm) print area. In standard CMYK mode it produces up to 37.6 square feet per hour (3.5 m²/h), using new printheads, dot control and UV ink technology. EUV-H Hard Ink, formulated for industrial use, comes in 750 ml pouches in CMYK, White, Primer and Gloss configurations.
A multi-layer printing mode improves alignment accuracy and production efficiency for jobs requiring registration across layers. Applications include industrial graphics, control panels, nameplates, promotional products, cosmetic packaging and customized consumer goods.
Operators can control output from the integrated display and monitor production remotely through the Roland DG Connect app. The printer ships with VersaWorks RIP software for print production, device monitoring and workflow management.
VersaObject RC-300 Series
The RC-300 series comprises two helical UV printers, the RC-300 and RC-300c, for cylindrical and tapered items. They print onto bottles, tumblers, drinkware, cans and packaging products, including objects with convex or concave surfaces. A simplified workflow reduces setup time and potential user errors.
Both models use EUV-H hard inks in 1-liter bottles of CMYK, White, Gloss and Primer, printing on glass, PET, aluminum, steel and rigid plastics without custom tooling. A medium object, such as a 20-ounce tumbler, prints in about 60* seconds.
The RC-300c is designed for clear or translucent bottles, including pre-filled or pre-labeled bottles. The model is intended for beverage brands, cosmetics packaging and manufacturers moving away from traditional decoration methods.
