IRVINE, CA, May 20, 2026 – Roland DG previewed new industrial UV printing systems to move more product decoration work from analog processes to digital production. The portfolio includes flatbed and cylindrical printers, along with a Hard UV Ink developed for durable markings on industrial parts, packaging, electronic components and direct-to-object applications.

The preview comes as manufacturers seek production methods that can handle on-demand work, design variation and shorter decoration runs. Roland DG is positioning the systems for companies that need digital workflows while retaining durability requirements used in industrial production.

The portfolio includes the VersaObject IO-300 for high-mix, low-volume production. The system is planned to support design changes and consistent output across plastics, metals, glass and composites.

Industrial UV Printing Portfolio

“Industrial manufacturers are increasingly looking for ways to improve flexibility and responsiveness while maintaining quality and durability,” said Kevin Shigenoya, executive officer, new business office, Roland DG. “We’re strengthening our industrial portfolio later this year to help manufacturers address evolving production demands, enabling greater agility, responsiveness, and application versatility as digital industrial printing continues to expand.”

Typical IO-300 applications include industrial parts decoration, nameplates, control panels, housings and functional components. Roland DG is targeting screen printers, pad printers, industrial manufacturers and in-house decoration departments with the flatbed system.

Flatbed Printing for Industrial Parts

The VersaObject RC-300 and RC-300c are LED UV inkjet printers for decoration of cylindrical and lightly tapered objects. The series is designed for bottles, containers, promotional items and limited-edition packaging that require short runs, customization and faster setup.

The RC-300c variant is intended for printing on clear and translucent bottles without filling. The system supports beverage brands, packaging specialists and manufacturers seeking digital alternatives to traditional decoration methods.

Cylindrical Printing for Packaging

Roland DG also previewed a Hard UV Ink for industrial durability requirements traditionally handled through analog printing. The ink is planned for VersaObject systems and future industrial printing hardware.

The ink targets durable output for industrial parts, electronic components, nameplates and functional markings. It expands the company’s industrial printing range into materials developed for production use.

Durable Ink for Functional Markings

The portfolio builds on Roland DG’s industrial capabilities, including the LSINC Peri Series direct-to-object system. Together, the previewed systems and ink extend the company’s range for flat, cylindrical and direct-to-object decoration.

Availability

Roland DG will showcase the VersaObject IO-300, VersaObject RC-300 series and Hard UV Ink at FESPA 2026 (May 19-22 in Barcelona, Spain) and ProPak Asia 2026 (June 10-13 in Bangkok, Thailand). General market availability is planned for the second half of 2026.
