Schneider Electric launched prefabricated power modules offering up to 2.5 MW per module for AI data centers. Customers can deploy the modules and accompanying standardized power skids in six months.
The range serves high-density hyperscale, neocloud and colocation facilities, supporting high-performance computing (HPC), AI training clusters and GPU-intensive workloads. Both products use Schneider Electric’s Galaxy VXL (GVXL) uninterruptible power supply technology and come in 2MW, 2.25MW and 2.5MW configurations. Schneider Electric describes the top-capacity module as its largest single-container prefabricated power system to date.
The systems function as power blocks based on Schneider Electric’s latest reference designs with NVIDIA. Those designs include integrated power management and liquid cooling controls for NVIDIA’s GB300 NVL72 platform.
Schneider Electric engineers test the modules and skids at its facility in Barcelona. The company expanded the Barcelona facility to support global demand for modular data center infrastructure.
The prefabricated power modules and power skids are available in Europe. Schneider Electric plans to introduce them it in North America later this year, followed by APAC markets.
