DUBAI, UAE, Nov 24, 2025 – SCIT Group (Space Communications for Information Technology) and Kontron has announced a partnership at the Dubai Airshow to accelerate the deployment of in-flight connectivity (IFC) services across the Middle East and Africa (MEA).
The partnership is a key step in expanding broadband connectivity for regional air travel. By combining Kontron’s avionics computing platforms with SCIT’s A2G infrastructure, the project will deliver high-speed, low-latency links for airlines and passengers across the Middle East and Africa.
As part of this collaboration, SCIT will integrate Kontron’s avionics systems, including the Ace Flight 4608 avionics server, Cab-n-Connect A200 CWAP, and upcoming Ace Flight 4609 avionics server and Cab-n-Connect A300 CWAP, into its A2G-based IFC platform. These aviation-grade solutions provide the performance and capacity required for commercial and business aviation.
“This partnership is a significant step toward establishing Saudi Arabia and the wider Middle East as a global hub for connected aviation,” said Mohamed K. Abdelrehim, CEO of SCIT Group and SkyFive Arabia. “Together with Kontron, we are building the foundation for next-generation in-flight connectivity that aligns with the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 ambitions for digital transformation and technological leadership.”
“We are delighted to partner with SCIT to bring our advanced computing solutions to one of the fastest growing aviation markets in the world,” said Jon Moseley, VP of business development for avionics at Kontron. “With SCIT’s vision and strong regional network, we will deliver in-flight connectivity that sets new standards in reliability and passenger experience.”
