QUEBEC, Canada, June 15, 2026 – Siemens Canada has expanded its Drummondville manufacturing facility with additional production space, logistics, automation and digital design-to-manufacturing tools for electrical equipment production.
The project adds a second Drummondville location and more than 40,000 square feet of production and logistics space. The expansion increases manufacturing capacity and uses digital tools, automation and a new facility layout to improve productivity, quality and customer lead times.
The completed project represents an investment of approximately $14 million by Siemens Canada. It also builds on the company’s collaboration with the Government of Québec, which provided financial support through a $5.6 million loan.

It also strengthens Canada’s manufacturing competitiveness, creates high-quality jobs, and showcases what is possible when digitalization, sustainability, and industrial expertise come together.”
The Drummondville facility manufactures load centers, meter centers, panel boards, power panels and switchboards for residential, commercial and industrial applications. Siemens Canada said the products are built with 100% Canadian steel.
The company is targeting higher production capacity for complex products and shorter delivery timelines, particularly for demand from smart infrastructure and data center markets.
The project has created approximately 40 jobs, bringing total employment to nearly 400 workers. Siemens Canada also sources about $26 million annually in materials from suppliers from Québec, including vendors in the Drummondville area.
