Siemens Earns UL Solutions Platinum Ratings for Industrial Edge, PLC

Platinum ratings confirm automation and IT/OT tools meet security and reliability checks, giving industries verified systems to boost resilience, streamline operations, and support digital transformation.

NORTHBROOK, IL, Sep 24, 2025 – Siemens has earned Smart Systems Verified Platinum ratings from UL Solutions for its Industrial Edge and virtual PLC software, emphasizing competency in automation and secure IT/OT integration. UL Solutions also verified Siemens’ IGNITE digital maturity assessment framework, which evaluates customers’ digital capabilities and support digital transformation.
