PRETORIA, South Africa, Sep 14, 2026 – Siemens Digital Industries Software will reach six African markets through a distribution agreement with Redington. The deal covers Egypt, Kenya, Ethiopia, Nigeria, Morocco and Tanzania, with plans to expand to more markets.
The agreement covers the Siemens Xcelerator portfolio. Engineers and designers get access to Teamcenter for product lifecycle management (PLM), Designcenter for product design and engineering, and Simcenter for simulation and testing.
The tools rest on Siemens Digital Twin technology, which builds a virtual model of a physical asset. The same portfolio includes Siemens Industrial AI capabilities, which companies use to predict failures and adjust production.
Redington will distribute the software in the six named countries and provide local support through its partner network. Redington also distributes Altair simulation tools, which Siemens added to its portfolio last year.
