DETROIT, MI and ERLANGEN, Germany, June 4, 2026 – Siemens is adding HighByte Intelligence Hub to its Industrial Edge Marketplace to help manufacturers move industrial data from machines, control systems and enterprise software into AI workflows. The integration connects operational technology (OT) sources such as PLCs and SCADA systems with information technology (IT) systems, giving Siemens Intelligence Center X data for AI models, agents and industrial applications.

HighByte Intelligence Hub is an industrial data operations software for data modeling, orchestration and governance. Running natively on Siemens Industrial Edge, it uses the environment for application and configuration management while connecting to Industrial Edge’s Connectivity Suite for access to PLCs, SCADA systems and industrial protocols.

Integrated Solution for Data Access and Contextualization

The integration extends beyond machine connectivity by applying HighByte’s DataOps functions to IT data sources across production operations. This creates a data infrastructure where operational and enterprise data can be processed, organized and reused for industrial applications.

HighByte Intelligence Hub also supports data contextualization and pipelining across IT/OT domains. Users can apply transformation rules to raw operational data, add business context and deliver data sets to IT services. The software can also act as a Unified Namespace provider and send commands from IT systems, including manufacturing execution systems (MES), back to PLCs through Industrial Edge’s Connectivity Suite to adjust machine setpoints securely.
