Siemens IC Tools Gain Intel 14A, 18A-P Certification

PLANO, TX, Aug 3, 2026 – Siemens has certified Calibre nmPlatform and Solido Simulation Suite for Intel 14A and Intel 18A-P process technologies, covering integrated circuit (IC) design verification and analog, custom digital and mixed-signal circuit verification. Siemens and Intel Foundry also developed a workflow for EMIB and EMIB-T packaging, including through-silicon vias, to design, prototype and verify multi-chiplet architectures.

The Calibre certification covers the Calibre nmDRC, Calibre nmLVS, Calibre PERC and Calibre YieldEnhancer product lines. Siemens also certified Solido SPICE and Analog FastSPICE, both part of the Solido Simulation Suite.

Solido SPICE and Analog FastSPICE support the Open Model Interface (OMI). Intel’s Custom Reference Flow (CRF) also supports Analog FastSPICE (AFS).

The packaging workflow uses Siemens design and verification products with Intel’s Embedded Multi-die Interconnect Bridge (EMIB) and Embedded Multi-die Interconnect Bridge-T (EMIB-T) technologies. EMIB-T incorporates through-silicon vias for multi-chiplet designs.
