PLANO, TX, June 15, 2026 – Gartner’s Magic Quadrant for PLM Software in Discrete Manufacturing Industries¹ lists Siemens as a “Leader,” a category Gartner defines as those who “execute well against their current vision and are well positioned for tomorrow.”

Teamcenter includes AI capabilities developed for PLM. Siemens said the software embeds AI and connects it with Teamcenter’s secure digital thread backbone. Teamcenter customers can use Teamcenter Copilot for generative AI-powered assistance, with additional expertise added in each new Teamcenter product release.
Siemens also cited bill of material (BOM) enhancements to connect the digital thread and the adoption of Teamcenter X, its cloud SaaS delivery option for Teamcenter. Teamcenter X is intended to make Teamcenter available to companies.
