DETROIT, MI, Oct 30, 2025 – Siemens and rhobot.ai have expanded their collaboration with the availability of their AI solution for manufacturing. The edge-native system, available through the Siemens Xcelerator digital marketplace, was successfully deployed at CarbonAMS in Ireland. It is designed to help manufacturers improve production efficiency and monitor equipment performance.
The collaboration introduces an AI system designed to manage the mathematical processes behind manufacturing operations. Unlike language models or copilots, it analyzes data to adjust and optimize production. The system connects with factory automation hardware and software at the industrial edge to support process control and tuning.
Initial testing began in 2024 with rhobot.ai, formerly Agbotic Inc., where the AI optimization approach was first applied in robotic greenhouses. This work has evolved into rhobot.ai’s solution, which is designed for use across various industrial environments.
The deployment at CarbonAMS’s anaerobic digester facility in Ireland stands as a testament to the solution’s power. Without any downtime, CarbonAMS utilized the rhobot.ai Siemens Edge solution to achieve:
- 39% decrease in digester parasitic load
- 2.5% increase in gas output
The efficiencies could generate more than $1 billion across Europe’s 20,000 digesters. CarbonAMS plans to expand the use of the application across its facilities.
