Siemens, Salesforce Link Teamcenter Data to AI Agents

by | Sep 17, 2026

Agentforce uses engineering and digital-twin data for spare-parts identification, upgrade checks and customer service workflows.

MUNICH, Germany, Sep 17, 2026 – Siemens and Salesforce are connecting Siemens Teamcenter engineering and digital-twin data with Salesforce Agentforce, allowing AI agents in sales, service and customer workflows to answer product-specific technical questions. The integration covers tasks including spare-parts identification, upgrade validation and customer parts searches.

Service technicians can identify parts for specific equipment serial numbers before a site visit. Sales staff can check whether proposed upgrades are technically valid and manufacturable. Customers can also find and order parts without waiting for an engineer or calling a hotline.

“For decades, the expert knowledge of the engineer has been separate from the person servicing the machine in the field. We are closing that gap forever,” said Roland Busch, president and CEO of Siemens AG. “By embedding our digital twin into the commercial workflow, we are putting a virtual engineer in the hands of every service technician and salesperson. Siemens brings industrial AI, Salesforce enterprise AI. Together, they create a critical building block for an industrial AI operating system that connects engineering, operations and business.”

“Siemens and Salesforce are proving what’s possible when companies commit to building the future together,” said Marc Benioff, chair and CEO of Salesforce. “Together, we’re showing the transformative impact AI can have across the enterprise – bringing the best of our technology, expertise, and industry knowledge together to reinvent how work gets done and how customers are served. This is a blueprint for the AI era: deep collaboration that goes beyond connecting technology to accelerate transformation, unlock new growth, and create entirely new value for customers.”

Siemens has also deployed Agentforce to process inbound sales leads. It receives more than 2,500 unqualified leads each month and uses two AI agents to handle them for 18,000 sellers.

Leads enter Salesforce Sales Cloud, where an engagement agent contacts prospects and passes interested leads to a qualification agent. The qualification agent evaluates each lead before routing selected opportunities to the appropriate seller. The engagement agent uses CRM data to personalize email outreach. Each email contains a secure public key that identifies the lead without revealing its internal record ID. When a prospect follows the qualification link, the key lets the qualification agent retrieve the corresponding sales record.

The qualification agent can confirm or add information during the conversation and record details including budget and timeline requirements. According to Siemens, the system can engage 100% of its inbound leads across 132 countries.

The deployment also uses AIforce, which makes Salesforce data, workflows, business logic, actions and governance available through AI-agent interfaces.
