PLANO, TX, July 15, 2026 – Siemens will demonstrate a digital twin of a search-and-rescue drone at the Farnborough International Airshow, tracking the aircraft from design through manufacturing and into field maintenance. The demonstration runs on Siemens’ Xcelerator portfolio and shows how engineering, production and operations data can stay connected across the aircraft’s lifecycle.

In Engineering, Siemens will show multidisciplinary simulation and industrial AI tools used to support auditable flight safety documentation. In Manufacturing, Siemens will demonstrate tools including Digital Twin Composer, which address production and supply chain issues. In Sustainment, Siemens will show its Intelligence Center X, which uses agentic and domain-scoped AI to analyze contextualized data to support maintenance and disruption-related decisions.
