SINTRONES Technology has unveiled the IBOX-604-G2, a compact AI minicomputer built for edge AI workloads. The system targets autonomous platforms where space efficiency and payload capacity affect deployment and performance.
Small Footprint Design for Maximum Space and Energy Efficiency
With dimensions of 3.2 × 11.5 × 12 cm and a weight of about 0.3 kg, the IBOX-604-G2 is designed for edge AI deployments where space and weight are limited. The system fits inside NEMA 3R junction boxes or mounts on unmanned vehicles and aircraft. By reducing overall vehicle or aircraft weight, the embedded AI system lowers energy demand while preserving payload capacity and full-load operation.
Versatile Power Input, Reliable Performance
The IBOX-604-G2 supports a DC input range from 10V to 60V and works with 3S to 14S lithium battery systems across different power environments. This range makes deployment convenient in applications with varying power needs. Integrated ignition detection and shutdown help protect data integrity and support long-term system longevity.
Advanced Vision AI for Real-Time Autonomous Decisions
The IBOX-604-G2 pairs AI with I/O and image processing. The system runs on NVIDIA Jetson Orin modules and delivers up to 157 AI TOPS. Two FAKRA Z connectors support automotive-grade GMSL-2 cameras, enabling high-bandwidth video input and real-time image processing.
The IBOX-604-G2 offers a range of wired, wireless, and sensor interfaces for edge deployments. Connectivity includes dual Ethernet ports (2.5GbE and GbE), CAN FD port, a COM port, a UART interface, a built-in 3-axis accelerometer, and an M.2 2230 Key E slot for Wi-Fi on the IBOX-604-G2W variant. The system also supports GNSS and GPS expansion through M.2 3042 or 3052 Key B slots or via USB. Integrated NVIDIA computer vision and AI frameworks support use in intelligent agriculture, smart city infrastructure, and defense systems.
Key Features at a Glance:
- Supports NVIDIA Jetson Orin NX/Nano SoM with 1024 CUDA Cores
- Supports power input (DC 10-60V) adaptable for 3S-14S lithium battery systems
- Supports two GMSL-2 cameras for low-latency, uncompressed video transmission
