TAIPEI, Taiwan, Oct 21, 2026 – SINTRONES Technology has launched the SBOX-2625-SF computer that uses a cabinet’s metal surface as a heatsink. The slim, flat-surface system is designed for space-restricted cabinets and enclosed environments.
The computer uses a thermal interface material to transfer heat to the cabinet surface. According to SINTRONES, the design requires no cooling clearance and reduces weight by about 30% and height by 25% compared with traditional aluminum-extruded models.
The SBOX-2625-SF runs on an Intel Twin Lake 4-core N150 processor with a thermal design power of 6 W. SINTRONES positions the system for large-scale deployments in factories, retail chains and continuous-operation environments. Applications include retail analytics, factory automation and smart surveillance.
Connectivity, storage and security features include:
- Two 2.5GbE ports for uplink and downlink connections.
- Up to six USB ports and three COM ports for peripherals.
- M.2 slots supporting WLAN (Wi‑Fi/BT) and cellular (5G/LTE) expansion
- Storage requirements meeting SATA SSD compatibility.
- TPM 2.0 hardware security to ensure data protection.
