WINDSOR, CO, Apr 15, 2026 – Slingshot Aerospace deployed Slingshot Portal to process space missions by linking detection, tracking, and response in a single AI-driven system. As orbital activity increases and timelines tighten, Slingshot Portal processes sensor and tracking data to monitor objects, identify anomalies, and support mission operations across defense, civil, and commercial sectors.

Slingshot Portal integrates proprietary observations from the Slingshot Global Sensor Network with government tracking data and a continuously updated space object catalog. These inputs provide a consistent view of objects and activity in orbit.

Operators use Slingshot Portal to monitor orbital activity in near real time, identify anomalies and threats, assess maneuver options, and evaluate mission impacts through 3D visualization and AI-based analysis. The system links detection, analysis, and response within a single operational process.

Slingshot Aerospace operates its own optical sensor network, generating observation data that feeds into the analytics engine. Slingshot Portal also provides access to third-party and customer data through a data marketplace, allowing combined analysis across multiple data sources.

Slingshot Portal can operate in disconnected and air-gapped command-and-control environments for national security missions. In these settings, the analytics engine ingests and processes external mission data, including electronic warfare, cyber, and OPIR/missile warning inputs, when available.

“Space is a dynamic, contested operating environment, and the tools built for yesterday’s orbital domain are no longer sufficient,” said Tim Solms, CEO of Slingshot Aerospace. “Slingshot Portal unifies sensing, intelligence, and action into a single operational process empowering operators to respond faster, make confident decisions and take real-time action.”

Slingshot Portal is scheduled to add maneuver intelligence, predictive analysis, and scenario planning capabilities through 2026.

About Slingshot Aerospace

Founded in 2017, Slingshot Aerospace delivers space simulation and analytics solutions to enhance situational awareness in complex environments. Its platform combines data from satellites, drones, aircraft, and ground sensors, applying AI and machine learning to support space object tracking, traffic coordination, and simulation. The system integrates inputs from Slingshot’s Global Sensor Network, the Seradata database, satellite operators, and other sources to create a unified view of space activity – past, present, and projected – used for planning, training, and operations. Slingshot serves both government and commercial clients, including NASA and the U.S. Space Force, aiming to reduce risk and improve safety in space operations. The company has about 150 employees and maintains offices in Colorado and the UK. Slingshot aims to ensure safe, sustainable space operations using modeling, astrodynamics, and data fusion.
