
LOS ANGELES, CA, Sep 5, 2025 – SprintRay has acquired the EnvisionTEC/ETEC dental portfolio (formerly part of Desktop Health). The agreement covers patents, trademarks, inventory and intellectual property in dental materials and 3D printing.
With EnvisionTEC, SprintRay gains a portfolio of technologies in dentistry 3D printing. EnvisionTEC holds more than 200 patents in 3D printing hardware and materials and serves dental labs and practices worldwide. Its portfolio includes the patented cDLM (continuous digital light manufacturing) technology in Envision One, the Einstein DLP printer line developed under the Desktop Health brand, and materials such as Flexcera, a hybrid nanoceramic resin cleared by the FDA, CE marked, and MDR Class I certified for dental prosthetics.

- Reliable Resin Supply – Continued production of EnvisionTEC and Desktop Health resins, including Flexcera, ensuring uninterrupted workflows.
- Cross-Platform Validation – SprintRay intends to validate select EnvisionTEC/Desktop Health resins on its platform and will evaluate the compatibility of SprintRay resins on EnvisionTEC/Desktop Health printers.
- Dental Lab Leadership – SprintRay’s portfolio, enhanced by EnvisionTEC’s technologies and materials, positions the company to drive innovation and set new standards in dental lab 3D printing.
