SHANGHAI, China, Oct 23, 2025 – SPX FLOW has expanded its integrated service center at the Shanghai (Xidu) facility, increasing its footprint from 2,700 to 12,000 square meters. The upgraded center strengthens support for parts, maintenance, and lifecycle services across China and the Asia-Pacific region. Serving as a regional hub for SPX FLOW’s mixing, pump, and nutrition and health businesses, the Shanghai site supports industries such as food and beverage and general industrial processing.

With optimized warehouse logistics and streamlined service workflows, SPX FLOW can handle projects, reduce delivery times, and maintain continuous production during peak periods. The expansion also marks the 20th anniversary of the Shanghai site, highlighting two decades of service and investment across China and the Asia-Pacific region.

“For two decades, our Shanghai Xidu site has been a cornerstone of SPX FLOW’s support for customers in China and across Asia-Pacific,” said Bruce Wang, director of APAC operations at SPX FLOW. “This expansion honors that legacy while preparing us for the next 20 years by investing in a service capacity our customers can count on.”

Making the Most of the Additional 9,300 Square Meters:

  • A spare parts distribution center for nutrition and health technologies enables faster delivery of homogenizers, hygienic pumps, and valves. The added space allows the site to hold high-demand parts, supporting shorter response times and regular service.
  • A plate heat exchanger after-sales service center, equipped with updated tools and processes, supports shorter turnaround times and service capacity for industrial customers.
  • Solar panels installed on the roof supply renewable energy, reducing dependence on conventional power sources. The system is projected to lower monthly energy use by about 10%.
