Stellantis Adds Qualcomm Chips to STLA Brain

Snapdragon Digital Chassis will support cockpit, connectivity and ADAS functions across future Stellantis vehicle programs

AMSTERDAM, Netherlands and SAN DIEGO, CA, May 26, 2026 – Stellantis is integrating Qualcomm’s Snapdragon Digital Chassis SoCs into STLA Brain as it expands the computing infrastructure behind future vehicle programs. The hardware will support cockpit, connectivity and advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) functions across multiple Stellantis brands, while providing a common electronics foundation for software-defined vehicle development.

The expanded collaboration combines Snapdragon Digital Chassis SoCs with Stellantis’ electronic and software architecture. The setup is designed to support feature upgrades, shorten development work across brands and segments and improve cost efficiency through platform standardization.

The agreement also includes Snapdragon Ride Pilot ADAS platform. The system can support functions ranging from active safety and regulatory features to Level 2+ hands-free driving,  enabling ADAS features across Stellantis vehicles.

The work builds on existing Stellantis and Qualcomm activity in cockpit and connectivity systems and adds compute capacity for AI-driven vehicle functions. Stellantis and Qualcomm have also signed a non-binding letter of intent for aiMotive, Stellantis’ automated driving and simulation company, to join Qualcomm Technologies.
