Tech Soft 3D Names Robbie Payne as CEO

The leadership transition adds new senior roles to guide growth, strengthen partnerships, and advance the company’s software and technology strategy

BEND, OR, Nov 3, 2025 – Tech Soft 3D has appointed Robbie Payne as chief executive officer, effective immediately. Payne succeeds founder Ron Fritz, who becomes executive chairman. Fritz will focus on expanding the company’s industry partnerships, business growth, and acquisition strategy.

Payne previously served as executive-in-residence at Battery Ventures. He has more than 20 years of experience leading SaaS and industrial technology companies. Before joining Tech Soft 3D, he was CEO of CAMBRIO and QSR Automations. His experience in growing technology firms supports Tech Soft 3D’s goals for expansion and customer value.
