LONDON, UK, Mar 23, 2026 – Tensor introduced its Tensor Robocar in the UK at the 5th European AV Summit, marking its first public showcase in the country. The vehicle is a Level 4 autonomous model designed for personal ownership. The display builds on Tensor’s August 2025 global launch and outlines advancements in safety systems, sensing, artificial intelligence (AI) and user interfaces. The vehicle includes a foldable steering wheel developed with Autoliv. Tensor’s dual-mode approach supports both manual driving and fully autonomous operation.
Tensor is expanding its autonomous vehicle program in Europe ahead of production. The Tensor Robocar integrates AI with a ground-up autonomous vehicle architecture developed over a decade.

“Showcasing Tensor at the European AV Summit offered a vital opportunity to demonstrate a production-ready Level 4 vehicle to the policymakers, insurers and industry partners who shape Europe’s AV future,” said Jay Xiao, chief executive officer at Tensor. “Our purpose-built Robocar is engineered for full-stack redundancy providing a level of safety and reliability that combines agentic AI and adaptive design to meet rigorous regional safety standards. Tensor, showing for the first time in the UK, helped translate our technical evidence into practical pathways for safe, consumer ownership across European cities and soon – globally.”
To support deployment, Tensor is working with NVIDIA, Marsh, Oracle, VinFast and Arm. These partnerships address AI compute, safety systems, cloud infrastructure and manufacturing. Tensor plans to begin production in 2026 and introduce the vehicle in the UAE, EU and U.S. markets.
