
NORTH READING, MA, June 11, 2026 – Teradyne has developed an integrated test cell solution for known good device (KGD) screening of devices used in AI and data center applications, in collaboration with Tokyo Electron (TEL). The solution pairs Teradyne’s UltraFLEXplus platform with TEL’s Prexa SDP (Singulated Device Prober) to support device screening at multiple points in the advanced packaging flow for fabless designers, foundries, and OSATs.
The Teradyne-TEL test cell solution is designed to reduce integration risk in high-volume manufacturing. Within the cell, Teradyne’s UltraFLEXplus instruments coordinate with TEL’s Prexa SDP, which maintains device temperature and manages the dissipation characteristics.
Built on an open ecosystem architecture, the solution gives customers flexibility across probe cards, manipulators, and interface technologies. It can also be integrated with other probers or testers as required.
