
WHITE RIVER JUNCTION, VT, Jan 20, 2026 – Thomas Kudla has joined Concepts NREC as a senior software engineer on its Agile engineering design system development team. He will develop and maintain AxCent, the company’s flagship software for 3D geometric design and rapid flow analysis of multi-stage axial and radial turbomachinery. Kudla previously led an AFWERX deliverable that integrated AxCent with CTAADS, linking two CAE platforms used in the aerospace and launch industries.
Thomas Kudla brings more than two decades of experience in CFD software development and aero-thermal engineering across government, aerospace, and industrial programs. His background includes roles at the U.S. Air Force, GE Aviation, Brose Group, and the Naval Nuclear Laboratory (FMP). Bachelor of Science in Aerospace, Aeronautical, and Astronautical Engineering from the Illinois Institute of Technology and a Master of Science in the same discipline from the University of Dayton. He previously served as a lead design engineer for the GE9X engine.
