A new agreement secures U.S. supply of refractory and titanium alloy powders for cold spray additive manufacturing. The deal ensures tested materials transition to production, strengthening supply chains for defense, aerospace, and space applications.

HUNTSVILLE, AL, Sep 8, 2025 – Titomic Limited has announced the signature of a supply and development agreement for refractory and titanium alloy powders for cold spray additive manufacturing applications with Amaero Ltd.

Highlights of the Agreement:

  • Agreement provides Titomic and its customers with powders to unlock the potential of cold spray additive manufacturing.
  • Building a resilient and scalable U.S. domestic supply chain for defense, space, and aerospace markets.
  • Amaero is the exclusive supplier of spherical refractory and titanium alloy powders (gas atomized or plasma spheroidized) to support Titomic’s cold spray applications. Other powder types remain unrestricted.
  • Partnership aligns Amaero’s powder production capabilities with Titomic’s growth in coatings, repair, and near-net-shape part manufacturing.
  • Powders qualified in Titomic’s development programs will be the same formulations offered for production.
  • Framework includes flexibility where customer requirements, market conditions, or material availability necessitate alternatives.
