Titomic Appoints Jim Chilton to Advisory Group

Strategic advisory group expands with aerospace and defense expertise to support coatings and advanced manufacturing operations as the company scales activities across the United States

HUNTSVILLE, AL, Jan 28, 2026 – Titomic has appointed Jim Chilton to its strategic advisory group (SAG) as it expands operations in the United States. The appointment adds aerospace, defense and space expertise to support the company’s coatings and manufacturing technologies.

Jim Chilton spent nearly four decades at Boeing in senior leadership roles across aerospace and defense programs. Recently, he served as senior vice president and senior adviser to Boeing Defense, Space & Security. He previously led Boeing Defense’s space & launch division, overseeing the International Space Station, NASA’s Space Launch System (SLS), CST-100 Starliner, government and commercial satellite systems and Boeing’s role in United Launch Alliance. Chilton also served as president of Network & Space Systems.

Jim Chilton serves on the board of trustees of the International Academy of Astronautics in the engineering sciences section. He has also held roles with the International Astronautical Federation and other nonprofit boards. Chilton holds a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering from Washington State University, a Master’s degree from the Florida Institute of Technology, and is a graduate of Harvard Business School’s Advanced Management Program.
