WESTMINSTER, CO, Nov 17, 2025 – Trimble has introduced freight audit software solution that automates the auditing process for transportation invoices. Trimble Freight Audit is built to speed contract and payment-term verification across the audit process.
To support the audit and payment process, the software offers optional payment services for North American shippers and logistics service providers through the Triumph Network. Freight Audit also supports broker workflows, improves financial visibility and helps streamline freight settlement and cash-flow management across the logistics industry.
Trimble Freight Audit automates invoice reviews to reduce manual steps and comply with the contract and payment terms. It also connects with the Triumph Network to process carrier payments and create a single audit and payment workflow for shippers and logistics service providers.
The services in the Triumph Network include:
- Enhanced Cash Flow & Transparency: Shippers can track freight spending, reducing payment errors and improve financial planning. Logistics service providers (LSPs) can view receivables through the Triumph Network, giving finance teams to monitor and manage cash flow.
- Automated Invoice Processing: The Triumph solution automates payment processing, reconciliation and exception management to reduce manual work and accelerate payment cycles. Eligible carriers may receive payments within minutes of invoice approval, subject to Triumph network participation and approval criteria.
- Compliance & Security: The Freight Audit solution supports regulatory compliance and reduce financial risk. Triumph provides payment services within a controlled framework that uses fraud-detection tools to verify participating entities and support secure transactions.
- International Payments Made Simple: Triumph supports payments in USD, CAD and MXN to handle domestic and cross-border transactions. The solution can be used by organizations ranging from regional shippers to global operators.
“Trimble’s collaboration with the Triumph Network marks an exciting step forward in our efforts to simplify freight payments,” said Matthew Silver, SVP of enterprise partnerships at Triumph. “By combining our real-time payment infrastructure with Trimble’s audit capabilities, shippers, brokers and carriers can move money with greater speed, accuracy and trust, while reducing friction and fraud across the supply chain.”
“Trimble Freight Audit is a game-changer for the logistics industry thanks to the collaboration with the Triumph Network,” said Dan Popkin, sector vice president, strategic customers and channel partners at Trimble. “By enabling more accurate audit information with a freight invoice payment and management system, our shared customers gain unparalleled visibility and control over their spending. This ultimately helps boost profitability and reduce risk through streamlined and more secure financial operations.”
